Nha Trang:
March 4th, 2005Greetings from Nha Trang...
We arrived here after a few days in Dalat. Since we had seen several beaches in Vietnam and our time is tight, we decided to just pass though Nha Trang. However, our one afternoon here was well spent.
We went to the mud baths that had been deemed a "must visit" by previous travellers. We spent the afternoon soaking in a bathtub full of mineral mud followed by a hot tub soak in mineral water.
Afterwards we swam in a big swimming pool that was kept as warm as a hot tub before relaxing on the big sun deck. We also opted for the massages and steam room treatment.
As I mentioned once before, a Thai Massage was #1 on our list. That is no longer the case. We received a massage similar to the one delivered by Lucy Lu in Charlie's Angels.
The masseuses stood on our backs, walking up and down them, while hanging onto a poll overhead. It was fantastic - and well needed following the 5 hour bus ride from Dalat.
That was it for our time in Nha Trang as we are scheduled to take the bus out of town in the morning and arrived in Hoi An by evening.
